SCF Hosts State Health Benefits Fairs in October

State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota will host two State of Florida Health Benefits Fairs Oct. 19-20, offering state employees information on various benefit plans. The events are free and open to eligible employees.

State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) will host two State of Florida Health Benefits Fairs next month, offering state employees an opportunity to explore benefit plans.

The fairs are scheduled for Monday, Oct. 19, and Tuesday, Oct. 20, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Employees of SCF and other state entities participating in the Division of State Group Insurance (DSGI) program are invited. No registration is required.

The first fair takes place Monday, Oct. 19, at SCF Bradenton, 5840 26th St. W., in the Carol F. Probstfeld Library & Learning Center, Rooms 143 and 146 of Building 3.

The following day, Tuesday, Oct. 20, the fair moves to SCF Venice, 8000 S. Tamiami Trail, in the Professional Development Center, Building 800, Selby Room.

Attendees can learn about health, dental, vision, retirement, flexible spending and supplemental plans. Benefit vendors will provide information and resources.
