Rodney Booth Arrested in Bradenton Homicide | Manatee Sheriff

BRADENTON, FL — The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a homicide that occurred late Thursday night in Bradenton, leading to the arrest of Rodney Booth.

Deputies responded to a call in the 5100 block of 14th St. W. around 11:15 p.m. on September 17, 2026. They found a deceased adult woman outside the residence. Evidence at the scene indicated homicidal violence.

Rodney Booth, born Nov. 20, 1961, was present when deputies arrived. Following an initial investigation, detectives charged Booth with murder.

Authorities are withholding the victim’s identity as the investigation continues. The Sheriff’s Office will release additional information as it becomes available.
