SCF Virtual Resume Workshop for Students in Manatee
State College of Florida, Manatee - Sarasota (SCF) hosted a virtual "Career Boost: Resume Review" workshop on Oct. 12, helping students refine their job application documents. Participants learned strategies to highlight their skills and experiences for local employment opportunities.

Students seeking to improve their job applications attended a virtual resume review workshop hosted by the State College of Florida, Manatee - Sarasota (SCF) on Oct. 12. The workshop, titled "Career Boost: Resume Review," aimed to help participants create professional and impactful resumes for opportunities in Manatee County and beyond.
The interactive session guided students through building, refining and strengthening their resumes. Attendees learned strategies to highlight their experiences and skills to stand out to employers. Participants brought their current resumes, with the goal of leaving with a more polished document.
SCF offered three time slots for the virtual sessions: 10 to 11 a.m., 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and 2 to 3 p.m. This flexible scheduling accommodated various student schedules and academic commitments.
