At 533 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Parrish, or 10 miles east of Palmetto, moving southwest at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.

Sarasota, Bradenton, Palmetto, Longboat Key, Siesta Key, Lakewood Ranch, Ellenton, Sarasota Springs, South Gate Ridge, Lake Sarasota, Saint Armands Key, North Sarasota, Memphis, Sarasota Bradenton Airport, West Samoset, Southgate, Gulf Gate Estates, Myakka River State Park, The Meadows, and Ridge Wood Heights.
