Richland Community College Mobile Job Training | IL

Richland Community College will use a $250,000 grant from the Workforce Innovation Board of Northern Central Illinois to bring job training and placement services directly to residents in DeWitt and Macon Counties.

The mobile program eliminates transportation barriers that prevent residents from accessing workforce development services. Staff will deliver job search assistance and skills training across rural areas and communities throughout the two-county region.

The grant funds program operations, staff, equipment and materials. Richland Community College will administer the initiative.
