Chelmsford Installs 6 EV Charging Stations at Middle Schools
The town of Chelmsford will install six electric vehicle charging stations at Kennedy and McCarthy middle schools using a $225,000 grant from the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection.
The state grant covers equipment costs. Chelmsford will fund installation. Kennedy Middle School will receive three stations and McCarthy Middle School will receive three, both in municipal parking lots.
The town has not announced an installation timeline.
