A Freeze Warning is in effect for Central Oregon until 10:00 AM PDT today, October 10th, with temperatures as low as 32 degrees Fahrenheit expected, urging residents to protect sensitive plants from the cold.
Central Oregon residents are advised to take immediate action to protect sensitive plants from sub-freezing temperatures. The National Weather Service (NWS) in Pendleton, OR, has issued a Freeze Warning effective until 10:00 AM PDT today, October 10th.
Temperatures as low as 32 degrees Fahrenheit are expected across the Central Oregon area. These conditions pose a risk of killing crops and other tender vegetation, and could potentially damage unprotected outdoor plumbing.
The NWS Pendleton recommends that residents take steps now to cover or bring indoors any sensitive plants to prevent damage. The Freeze Warning is in effect until 10:00 AM PDT this morning.
