James Shell Sworn in to Lyons City Council Ward 1

James Shell was sworn in to the Lyons City Council in January after winning election in December to represent Ward 1.

Shell, a lifelong Lyons resident, owned an auto repair shop for 25 years before working at Fort Stewart. He plans to focus on responsible community growth and accountability in his council role.

Shell and his wife, Stephanie Brown Shell, have three children and ten grandchildren. He serves at St. Luke Baptist Church.
