Patrick P. Goodman, 71, passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2026 at Cumberland Pointe Health Campus in West Lafayette. He was born on December 2, 1954 in Lafayette to the late Gene and Betty (Wright) Go

Patrick P. Goodman, 71, passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2026 at Cumberland Pointe Health Campus in West Lafayette. He was born on December 2, 1954 in Lafayette to the late Gene and Betty (Wright) Goodman.Patrick was a graduate of Benton Central High School, and later enlisted in the United States Army where he served in the 82nd Airborne Division from 1975-1978. Patrick spent many years working as an offset pressman for Lafayette Printing and Central Printing. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Fowler American Legion Post 57, where he served one year as Commander. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, bowling, playing Euchre, a bit of golf and loved telling a good inappropriate joke in his heyday.Patrick is survived by his children, Nathan (Megan) Goodman, Adam Goodman, and Shannon Goodman; brothers, Greg Goodman, Gary Goodman, and John Goodman; sisters, Deb Deno, Marlys Vanderwall, and Robin Nunally; and grandchildren, Olivia and Eva Fose, Miles and Emmy Goodman.In addition to his parents, Patrick was preceded in death by his brothers, Randy Goodman (infant), Frank Goodman, and Mike Goodman.A Celebration of Life will be held at the Fowler American Legion - Post 57, 400 E 5th St., on June 13 from 3:00pm - 6:00pm.
