No one should face cancer on their own. Support groups can help you cope with the challenges of cancer by relating to others on a similar path. Together We Thrive is a place for adult cancer survivors to meet and find connection. This group is open to anyone navigating cancer—whether newly diagnosed, in treatment, or beyond.

Bariatric Surgery Support Group
FACILITATED BY A REGISTERED NURSE.
Each meeting will offer an educational topic and an opportunity for patients to ask questions, share tips and share their bariatric surgery success stories and struggles with fellow attendees.
Open to: Pre and post-operative weight loss surgery patients. Regular support group attendance and follow-up visits with your bariatric team have been proven to increase long term success after weight loss surgery.

Healthy Beginnings: A Pediatrician’s Guide for New Parents
Healthy Beginnings is a prenatal class designed to help expecting parents feel informed, prepared, and confident as they approach their baby’s arrival. Led by a pediatrician, this session has a strong focus on vaccines and covers both those recommended during pregnancy and those given throughout early childhood. A pediatrician will walk through how vaccines protect both parent and baby, address common questions, and explain what families can expect along the way.
The session also covers several other topics related to newborn and early childhood care, such as:
Feeding
Sleep
Development
Fevers (especially in the first month)
When to seek medical care
and more
This session is designed to provide guidance and trustworthy information—so you can feel confident making decisions that are right for your family.
The class format includes lecture and discussion. This class will only be available throughout July, August, and September 2026.

Expecting parents & family members.
When should moms plan to attend during their pregnancy?
Moms can attend anytime during their pregnancy.
What do I bring?
Something to write with and a small snack or beverage, if desired.

Please call in advance so arrangements can be made. All Community Health Education classes are held in handicapped accessible class rooms.
