A Dense Fog Advisory has been issued for the City of Seattle, the Eastside, and the Shoreline/Lynnwood/South Everett Area. The National Weather Service in Seattle has issued this advisory, which is in effect until 12:00 PM PDT today, October 5th. Drivers in these areas are advised to slow down, use their headlights, and maintain ample distance from other vehicles due to significantly reduced visibility.

Visibility is currently reported at one half mile or less in dense fog across the affected regions. These conditions can make driving hazardous. The advisory is effective immediately and will continue throughout the morning.
