This charming trail, converted from an old railway line, weaves through Lynn Haven and provides a safe, well-maintained route for outdoor exercise or just a quiet walk. It’s ideal for all ages and abilities, whether you're out for a brisk run, a leisurely bike ride, or a relaxing walk with family. Along the way, you’ll find water fountains, benches a couple of bicycle repair stations, and even a few spots perfect for birdwatching.
The Rail Trail is more than just a trail - it’s a place where the community interacts while enjoying fresh air, exercise, and the simple beauty of Lynn Haven’s natural surroundings.

An inviting amphitheater serves as the venue for many Lynn Haven signature community events, where music and laughter fill the air. With clean restrooms, ample parking, and plenty of open green space to stretch out, Sheffield Park is a perfect blend of community spirit and natural beauty—a favorite destination for families, friends, and neighbors to create lasting memories together.
It's the place where the community gathers to enjoy our Spring and Fall Concert Series, MLK Festival, Trunk or Treat, Winter Wonderland, Farmers' Markets, Art in the Park, Movie Night, International Food Truck Festival, and many more community events.

Smoking and alcohol consumption are strictly prohibited in all Lynn Haven parks.
This is a pet-friendly park, and all pets must remain on a leash (no longer than six feet) and under the direct control of their owners at all times. Please be a responsible pet owner and clean up after your pet.

Your Place for Fun in the Sun
Porter Park at 301 Michigan Avenue is Lynn Haven’s go-to spot for fun in the sun! This waterfront oasis has a sandy beach and a designated swimming area, complete with outdoor showers to keep you refreshed. Kids love the shaded playground and tetherball, and families can relax under one of the picnic pavilions or enjoy a stroll along the ½-mile elevated walking bridge with beautiful views of North Bay.
For those land lovers who prefer to just enjoy the view, there are pergola swings shaded by lovely Oaks - perfect for watching the water. Porter Park also features an ice machine and the best boat ramps in Lynn Haven, making it easy to kick off an adventurous day on the water!
The park is also home to several events throughout the year including Food Truck Friday's and Music by the Bay.

The Lynn Haven Bayou Park & Preserve is located at 4800 County Rd. 2321. This $15M park held its Grand Opening in 2021. The 98 acre Bayou Park and Preserve is the only preserve-like park in Bay County east of the Hathaway Bridge. The project was put together by a partnership with the Trust for Public Land and the Department of Environmental Protection and was gifted to the City of Lynn Haven.

This is a pet friendly park and all dogs must remain on-leash and under the direct control of owners at all times.
The Deed restrictions put in place by the Trust for Public Lands for the Lynn Haven Bayou Park & Preserve do not allow parties, weddings, or organized events within the property boundaries of the park. This restriction does not include educational related events such as school field trips.

Picnic Pavilions - The park has multiple picnic pavilions along the waterfront of North Bay and McKitchens Bayou.

Lynn Haven proudly offers multiple sports & recreational opportunities at the Sports Complex & Charlie Smith Gymnasium. The park features five fields and batting cages for Baseball, Softball, and Wee Ball, two outdoor Basketball Courts, four outdoor Pickle Ball Courts, a walking path, playground, and ample paved parking.
Various recreational leagues happen inside the Charlie Smith Gymnasium including Basketball, Volleyball, and Pickle Ball, as well as open Gym times for those just looking for some exercise."
