The park is a great place to get outside and play or a wonderful gathering destination for family reunions. The baseball diamond is utilized for summer little league games and is home to the Cumberland Raiders and Pirate baseball. One mile north is the Moore Home State Historic Site. Amenities include trailer and tent camping, several covered picnic areas, more than two miles of foot trails, and 13 miles of equestrian trails. The lake covers 183 of the 1,043-acre park and has a nine-mile shoreline.
