The Reading Corner Opens 2026-27 Enrollment in Lutz

The Reading Corner is now accepting enrollment packets for the 2026-2027 academic year. Families interested in enrolling new students in the Lutz area or near Lake Park must submit a fully completed packet and required documentation.

Enrollment is not guaranteed. The Reading Corner will assign classes based on availability and waitlist order.

A $300 enrollment fee is required for tuition-based classes upon packet submission. This fee is waived for students enrolling in the free VPK program.

The annual supply fee of $300 will be billed in May and is due June 1. Tuition billing for the 2026-2027 school year begins in July and continues through April.

For VPK students, a VPK Voucher is mandatory and must be submitted with the registration packet. Children must turn four before Sept. 1, 2026, to qualify for VPK for the 2026-2027 school year.

VPK vouchers are available from Pasco County at www.phelc.org. Applications open Jan. 1, 2026. Parents must sign and date lines 18 and 19 of the voucher before submission.

Open enrollment for tuition-based classes, including 2s, 3s, and tuition-based VPK, is set for Wednesday, Jan. 21, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Open enrollment for the free VPK program (T/Th or PM VPK) is scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 28, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Required documents include a completed packet, current shot records, the last physical and payment for the enrollment fee, if applicable. VPK enrollees must also provide their voucher.

Families should review the enrollment checklist and complete all forms thoroughly before registration. State of Florida requirements mandate complete and up-to-date forms for attendance.
