At 601 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9 miles north of Jerome, or 14 miles southeast of Fayetteville, moving south at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include... St. Pauls, Robeson Community College, Tobermory, Howellsville, Ruskin, Duart, Tolarsville, Barker Ten Mile, Ammon, White Oak, Jerome, and Tar Heel.

This includes Interstate 95 in North Carolina between mile markers 22 and 38.
