Wellington July Fourth 2026: 3-Day Independence Day Celebration
Wellington will host a three-day Independence Day celebration July 2–4 as part of America's Block Party, a nationwide synchronized event billed as the largest coordinated Fourth of July celebration in U.S. history.
Thursday Nights in Wellington kicks off July 2 at the Wellington Amphitheater, 12100 Forest Hill Boulevard. The Bruce, a Bruce Springsteen tribute band, performs at 6 p.m., followed by Homegrown: The Zac Brown Band Experience at 7:30 p.m. More than 18 food trucks and 35 market vendors will operate on-site. Admission is free; attendees should bring chairs or blankets for lawn seating.
The Wellington Aquatics Center, 3410 120th Avenue South, hosts a Patriotic Pool Party on July 3 from 3 to 8 p.m. The event features DJ music, games, a cannonball contest, and NinjaCross timed races. Admission costs $2.50, and each guest receives a food ticket for a hot dog or hamburger, chips, and drink. Entry operates on a first-come, first-served basis.
The celebration concludes July 4 at Village Park, 11700 Pierson Road, starting at 6 p.m. Only in America, a Brooks & Dunn tribute, and Tribute to the Troops, honoring military members and veterans, perform live. The park offers interactive attractions, games, food vendors, and activities for all ages. Fireworks launch at 9:15 p.m.
