Voter Registration To vote in Iowa, you must be a U.S. Citizen, be at least 18 years old on or before election day, be a resident of Iowa, and not be a convicted felon (unless rights have been restored). You can update your registration information at the Auditor's office or by mail.
Absentee Voting Absentee voting can be done through the mail or in-person at the Auditor's office prior to election day. You can request an absentee ballot by completing and returning an Absentee Ballot Request Form to the Auditor's office.
