Independence Day Fireworks Show The City of Longwood will host an Independence Day Fireworks Show on Thursday, July 4, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Reiter Park. Bring your chairs and blankets.

"Citizen Science: Dragonflies & Damselflies 4/10/2026 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM (EDT) Description Join us as we monitor the dragonflies and damselflies living at Oakland Nature Preserve. Get trained on how to catch and identify the species found here and then help us monitor the populations. All data is submitted to University of Florida and contributes to a statewide database. Please wear closed toed shoes and bring water."
