Sarasota Sheriff's Captain Completes FSA Commanders Academy
Captain Adam Kaskey of the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office graduated from the Florida Sheriffs Association Commanders Academy on April 24 at FSA headquarters in Tallahassee.
Kaskey, who leads the Criminal Investigations Bureau, completed Graduating Class 18. The Commanders Academy trains mid-to-upper-level criminal justice leaders in executive skills and decision-making.
Sheriff Kurt A. Hoffman said the academy supports the agency's goal of developing leaders from within. "Through this training, our leaders gain the insight, skills, and confidence necessary to lead with integrity and meet the demands of our profession," Hoffman said.
FSA Executive Director Matt Dunagan, FSA Vice President Billy Woods (Marion County Sheriff), and Sheriff Hoffman attended the graduation ceremony.
