Brit Lewis Steps Down from Orange Zoning Board

Brit Lewis will step down as chair of the Orange Board of Zoning Appeals on June 30, 2026, after serving on the five-member board that hears zoning variance requests and appeals.

The Orange County Circuit Court appoints BZA members based on Board of Supervisors recommendations, with one representative from each election district. The other current members are: Andy Hutchison of Orange (District One, term expires June 30, 2028); Ron Burleson of Unionville (District Two, June 30, 2029); Bob Wilbanks of Orange (District Three, June 30, 2027); and Alan MacDougall of Locust Grove (District Five, June 30, 2030).
