Sunny Isles Beach residents can deepen their faith and serve their community by joining liturgical ministries at St. Mary Magdalen.

The church seeks dedicated individuals for roles as Altar Servers, Eucharistic Ministers, Lectors, Ushers, and members of the Music Ministry.

Altar Servers assist the priest during Mass and other liturgical celebrations. Young men and women who have received First Communion may volunteer; training is provided.

Eucharistic Ministers, also known as Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, distribute the Body and Blood of Christ during Mass and to the homebound.

Lectors proclaim the Word of God during services. This role suits individuals comfortable speaking publicly and passionate about scripture; training and practice are available.

Ushers welcome parishioners, assist with seating, manage collections, and help maintain order, acting as the initial point of contact for attendees.

The Music Ministry enhances worship through song. Singers and instrumentalists of all skill levels can join the choir or other musical ensembles; weekly rehearsals are held.

Individuals feeling called to serve in these capacities should contact the Parish Office.
