Voters Cast Ballots in Key Primary Elections Across Three States

Voters in Wisconsin, Minnesota, and South Carolina participated in primary elections yesterday, selecting candidates for various offices. The Wisconsin Democratic gubernatorial primary attracted particular attention, with Assemblywoman Francesca Hong and Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley emerging as leading contenders.

Preliminary results indicated a close race between Hong and Crowley for the Democratic nomination for governor. Hong, a Democratic Socialist, has drawn scrutiny from some segments of the Democratic Party during her campaign.

Elsewhere, Wisconsin voters also cast ballots in other primary contests. These elections will determine the candidates who will appear on the ballot in the upcoming general election in November.
