Ocean Ridge Issues RFP for Annual Financial Auditing Services

"REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS RFP #_2026-003 ANNUAL INDEPENDENT FINANCIAL AUDITING SERVICES The Town of Ocean Ridge, Florida (“Town”), is requesting proposals from qualified firms of certified public accountants to audit its financial statements. These audits are to be performed in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards, the standards set forth for financial audits in the U.S. General Accounting Office's (GAO) Government Auditing Standards, the provisions of the Title 2 U.S. Code of Federal Regulations Part 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (Uniform Guidance), Audits of State and Local Governments (Revised) – AICPA, Section 215.97 and Section 218.39, Florida Statutes, Florida Single Audit Act; and Chapter 10.550 Local Governmental Entity Audits, Rules of the Auditor General, State of Florida and any other applicable federal, state, and local laws, and regulations. Copies of this RFP may be obtained from the Demandstar website at www.demandstar.com. Interested persons and entities who obtain copies of this RFP from sources other than Demandstar may potentially risk not receiving certain addendum(s) issued as a result of the solicitation. Time is of the essence and any proposal received after 3:00 PM, July 10, 2026, will be rejected by the Town. All proposals must be submitted to Demandstar by this stated date and time. Proposals submitted directly to the Town by mail, email, fax or other electronic means will not be considered. All persons or entities responding to the RFP (“Respondents”) are responsible for ensuring that their proposal is timely delivered Demandstar. The Town reserves the right in its sole discretion to reject any or all proposals and/or to waive all nonmaterial irregularities on any and all proposals. All costs and expenses, including reasonable attorney’s fees, incurred by any Respondent in preparing and/or responding to the RFP are the sole responsibility of the Respondent including without limitation any and all costs and fees related to a protest.
