At 434 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 4 miles southwest of Higgins to 7 miles west of Lela. Movement was northeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.
Locations impacted include... Canadian, Shamrock, Briscoe, Wheeler, Mclean, New Mobeetie, Twitty, Allison, Lela, Glazier, Lake Marvin, Kellerville, and Mobeetie.
This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 140 and 176.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
