Ripley Road Bridge Reopens Over Shiawassee River

The Ripley Road bridge over the Shiawassee River has reopened to traffic following completion of a reconstruction project.

The bridge, located on Ripley Road between Silver Lake and W. Rolston Road, is now fully accessible to motorists after crews finished work on the infrastructure project.

Local officials thanked residents for their patience during the construction period, noting the project represents an investment in maintaining and preserving the area's roadway infrastructure.

The bridge closure had required drivers to use alternate routes while crews completed the work. With the project now finished, normal traffic patterns have resumed on Ripley Road.

The reopening restores a direct connection for residents traveling between Silver Lake and W. Rolston Road, eliminating the need for detours that had been in place during construction.
