Important Dates Sept 22, 2026 - Notice of Election with Voting Locations gets mailed Oct 6, 2026 – Last day to submit online voter registration. Oct 6, 2026 – Early voting begins at the Santa Fe County Clerk’s Office. Oct 6, 2026 – Absentee (mail-in) ballots begin mailing to voters who have requested them. Oct 12, 2026 – Polls are closed for Indingenous People's Day. Oct 17, 2026 – Expanded early voting begins at additional early voting locations throughout the county. Oct 20, 2026 – Last day to request an absentee (mail-in) ballot (must be received by this date). Oct 31, 2026 – Last day of early voting at expanded early voting locations. Nov 3, 2026 – Election Day (Polls open 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.). Same Day Voter Registration is available during early voting and on Election Day at voting locations.
