Election Dates & Deadlines 2026 General Election Election Day - Tuesday, November 3, 2026, 7:00 am to 7:00 pm Deadline to register to vote - Monday, October 5, 2026 Deadline to request that a Vote-by-Mail ballot be mailed to you - Thursday, October 22, 2026, at 5:00 pm Early Voting - Monday, October 19, through Sunday, November 1, from 7:00 am until 7:00 pm Deadline to return your Vote-by-Mail ballot - Tuesday, November 3, 2026, at 7:00 pm to our Main Office or at 5:00 pm to a Branch Office or Secure Ballot Intake Station 2027 Municipal Elections Election Day - Tuesday, March 9, 2027, 7:00 am to 7:00 pm Deadline to register to vote - Monday, February 8, 2027 Deadline to request that a Vote-by-Mail ballot be mailed to you - Thursday, February 25, 2027, at 5:00 pm Early Voting - Not available Deadline to return your Vote-by-Mail ballot - Tuesday, March 9, 2027, at 7:00 pm to our Main Office or at 5:00 pm to a Branch Office or Security Ballot Intake Station Municipal Runoff Elections (if necessary) - Tuesday March 23, 2027 What is a Municipal Election Municipalities, including incorporated cities, towns, and villages, have elected officials chosen by the voters living within the municipality. Palm Beach County has 39 municipalities, each with its own charter that specifies the terms of elected offices and the frequency of elections. Municipalities run their own elections; therefore, each has its own qualifying dates and rules. Additionally, municipalities may have a provision in their charter that necessitates a run-off election. Municipal elections are nonpartisan, so all voters eligible to vote within the municipality may vote in a Municipal Runoff Election. Only voters living within the boundaries of the municipality are eligible to vote in the election for that municipality. Voters living in unincorporated areas of Palm Beach County are not eligible to vote in Municipal Elections.
