Irmo Hires Prentiss Brewer for Community Events & Tourism

Prentiss Brewer has joined the Town of Irmo as manager of community events and tourism initiatives. Brewer, an Irmo High School and University of South Carolina graduate, previously worked for the Brevard Chamber of Commerce in North Carolina, where she managed operations and promotions for the Transylvania County Tourism Development Authority.

In Brevard, Brewer coordinated the Downtown Brevard Christmas Parade, the White Squirrel Festival, Halloweenfest, and Fourth of July celebrations. She also organized business expos, galas, and candidate forums, and served on boards including Vision Transylvania, the Boiling Springs Business Association, and the Transylvania Community Arts Council.
