West Reading Repaints Norfolk Southern Trestle

Work crews began power-washing and repainting the Norfolk Southern railroad trestle at Penn Avenue and Second Avenue on Monday, April 27, with the project expected to take two weeks.

Lane closures on Penn Avenue will run 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday, affecting both directions. The Commonwealth Financing Authority Local Share Account is funding the project.
