Newfield's Barn Opens with Founders' Reception

To celebrate the unveiling of the Newfield Barn – and the people who have been most influential in bringing our community to life – we recently hosted a very special milestone event: the Founders’ Cocktail Reception. The evening reception, which took place in The Barn on October 23, was attended by nearly 100 guests including community founders, early homeowners, partners and supporters who played a role in bringing Newfield to life. Guests gathered to celebrate community, connection, and progress while hearing updates on the many milestones achieved this year, as well as what’s next for Newfield. During the reception, attendees experienced the delicious flavors of Newfield Farm, which has quickly become a center for agriculture-based programming and recreation. The Barn is a dynamic gathering space designed to bring neighbors and visitors together through hands-on educational workshops, cooking demonstrations, tastings, wellness programming and seasonal events. The venue is also available to the public for private event rentals, including live music, community socials and intimate wedding receptions. With its modern take on Cracker-style barn vernacular, including farmhouse-inspired finishes, The Barn merges rustic charm with modern versatility – an idyllic backdrop for events in our homegrown community. Just steps from The Barn is The Harvest House, Newfield’s community-supported agriculture (CSA) building, which is serving residents and visitors with fresh-picked produce, herbs, flowers and locally made goods. It provides the community with direct access to the best of Newfield Farm, reinforces our commitment to sustainable, local living. It’s been an incredible year of growth and grand openings here at Newfield. We are thrilled to officially debut Newfield Barn and honor those who have already made Newfield such a wonderful place to call home. The Barn is located at 1001 Southwest Citrus Boulevard on the northern edge of the Central Green, overlooking Newfield Farm’s courtyard stage and agricultural fields. To stay up to date on all things Newfield and/or schedule a tour, visit https://newfieldfl.com/ or call (772) 207-1772. Newfield Farm Hosts First Honey Harvest & Bee Classes

"Have you heard the “buzz?” Newfield’s resident beekeeper harvested five gallons of honey on-site at Newfield Farm, marking our community’s first-ever honey harvest! Our beekeeper harvested five gallons of honey, totaling 640 ounces – an impressive volume that could fill anywhere from 100 to 160 jars. The honey will be available for purchase in the Harvest House. While this first honey harvest was incredibly special (or, should we say, sweet?) there’s plenty more to come. In fact, through our hands-on “Simply Rooted” farm education series, residents and visitors across Palm City can enjoy an up-close look at our hives with classes led by Newfield Farm’s professional beekeeper. The Newfield Farm Series invites the community to enjoy a weekly lineup of events designed to foster engagement while promoting eco-friendly practices and providing valuable learning experiences. Every month features a variety of interactive events including farm tours and volunteering opportunities.   Interested in participating in the next honey harvest at Newfield Farm? Download our free community app to sign up for the Bee Class on Saturday, October 26! To learn more about Newfield Farm and stay up to date on the Simply Rooted series, visit newfieldfl.com/the-farm/. For more information about Newfield, or to schedule a tour, visit https://newfieldfl.com/ or call (772) 207-1772.
