St. Pete Beach to Hold Public Hearings on Medical Cannabis Dispensaries
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Commission of the City of St. Pete Beach, Florida, will hold public hearings in the City Hall, 155 Corey Avenue, St. Pete Beach, FL 33706, on August 13, 2024, at 6:00 P.M. and August 27, 2024, at 6:00 P.M., to consider the following proposed Ordinance: ORDINANCE 2024-13 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ST. PETE BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE CITY’S LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE, CHAPTER 6, “ZONING REGULATIONS,” ARTICLE 6-4, “DISTRICT REGULATIONS,” SECTION 6-4.14, “COMMERCIAL DISTRICTS,” BY AMENDING SUBSECTION (E)(11) TO REGULATE THE LOCATION OF MEDICAL CANNABIS DISPENSING FACILITIES; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. The proposed Ordinance is available for inspection at the Office of the City Clerk, City Hall, 155 Corey Avenue, St. Pete Beach, Florida, between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 4:30 P.M., Monday through Friday. All interested parties may appear at the meeting and be heard with respect to the proposed Ordinance. In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and Florida Statutes 286.26, persons with disabilities needing special accommodations to participate in this proceeding should contact the City Clerk’s Office at least 48 hours prior to the meeting. If any person decides to appeal any decision made by the City Commission with respect to any matter considered at such meeting, that person will need a record of the proceedings and, for such purpose, may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
