Orange Hotel Centennial Exhibit at Old Courthouse Museum
The Old Courthouse Heritage Museum is displaying artifacts from the historic Orange Hotel through July 5, marking a century since the building opened.
The temporary exhibit, organized by Laurie Diestler of Citrus County Historical Resources, features original menus, room keys, dishware and vintage postcards. The museum partnered with the Citrus County Historical Society to assemble the collection.
The Orange Hotel operated under that name until 1981, when it became the Crown Hotel. The building now houses Crown Court, an assisted living facility.
The exhibit runs Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Old Courthouse Heritage Museum, One Courthouse Square, Inverness. For more information, contact Diestler at [email protected].
