Citrus County Closes 3 Boat Ramps for Emergency Repairs

Staff Writer
June 13, 2026
Citrus County closes three boat ramps next week for emergency repairs

Citrus County Public Works will close the Hernando Boat Ramp, Eden Park Boat Ramp in Inverness, and Duval Island Boat Ramp in Floral City for repairs between June 15 and June 19. Each ramp will close as crews work on low-water access hazards that have complicated boat launches and retrievals.

Message boards will alert boaters when construction is underway. Boaters should check citruscounty.gov/boatramps or call 352-527-5477 for updates on which facility is closed.
