Position Description: This position is located at Agricultural Inspection Station No. 10 in White Springs, Florida. The incumbent in this position is responsible for inspecting plants and plant products for plant pests and diseases. The incumbent in this position is responsible for enforcing agricultural laws and regulations. The incumbent in this position is responsible for collecting samples of plants and plant products for laboratory analysis. The incumbent in this position is responsible for operating and maintaining equipment. The incumbent in this position is responsible for preparing reports and maintaining records. The incumbent in this position is responsible for performing other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of plant pests and diseases. Knowledge of agricultural laws and regulations. Ability to identify plant pests and diseases. Ability to enforce agricultural laws and regulations.
