A severe thunderstorm was detected at 7:08 PM CDT, located 5 miles southwest of Meers, moving east at 25 mph. This storm carries hazards of 60 mph wind gusts and quarter-sized hail. Radar has indicated these conditions.
Expected impacts include hail damage to vehicles and wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Areas affected include Medicine Park, Lake Lawtonka, Meers, Fort Sill, and Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge.
