The Sun Herald has rebuilt itself around a single focus: covering the 70-mile Gulf Coast stretch from Pascagoula to Bay St. Louis. After moving its newsroom to Gulfport in 2020, the McClatchy-owned newspaper now competes as a regional paper of record through hyperlocal business, development and community coverage.
