At 349 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near La Cienega, or 7 miles southwest of Santa Fe, moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include... Santa Fe, Eldorado At Santa Fe, Santo Domingo Pueblo, La Cienega, Canada De Los Alamos, Lamy, Cerrillos Hills State Park, Los Cerrillos, Tesuque and La Bajada.

This includes the following highways... Highway 285 between Mile Markers 284 and 290. Interstate 25 between Mile Markers 258 and 302.

Motorists can expect brief but sudden changes in visibility and ponding of water on roadways as storms move through the area.
