Largo Man Goes Missing

Alvin Longgood, a 78-year-old Largo man, was located safe Wednesday morning after being reported missing from Dunedin Lanes in Dunedin.

DUNEDIN – Alvin Longgood, a 78-year-old Largo man, was found safe Wednesday morning, October 7, 2026, after a Silver Alert was issued.

Pinellas County Sheriff's Office deputies located Longgood, who had been missing since Tuesday evening. He was last seen at Dunedin Lanes, 405 Patricia Avenue, around 9:30 p.m. on October 6, 2026. He was last spoken to by phone about two hours later, at approximately 11:40 p.m. that same night.

Longgood, who has memory and medical issues, was last seen wearing a green shirt and green shorts.

The Sheriff's Office provides a non-emergency number, 727-582-6200, for non-urgent matters. Residents should call or text 911 for emergencies.
