Adam Lunn Named Interim Airport Director in Lakeland

City Manager Shawn Sherrouse appointed Adam Lunn interim director of Lakeland Linder International Airport on June 14. Lunn, a 15-year airport veteran who began his career as an intern, most recently served as assistant airport director.
Sherrouse said city management and airport leadership will evaluate Lunn for permanent appointment during his interim tenure. "Adam will continue to provide the exceptional leadership and professionalism that have defined his career with the City," Sherrouse said.
Lunn joined the airport in 2011 and held several roles supporting its expansion. As assistant director for four years, he managed financial and operational functions.
"I am humbled and excited by this opportunity," Lunn said. "As one of the nation's fastest growing airports, our team is ready to continue providing a safe and reliable airfield for our tenants and users."
Lunn holds a Master of Business Administration from Florida Southern College and a Bachelor of Science in Management from the University of South Florida. He also holds FAA Private Pilot and Remote Pilot certifications, and he is a Certified Member and Airport Certified Employee.
