AMVETS AMVETS National Service Foundation Collection Schedule AMVETS National Service Foundation appreciates your interest in donating items to support our nation's heroes. To ensure efficient collection and timely delivery of your generous donations to veterans in need, please review our collection schedule and guidelines. Types of Items Accepted: Clothing (all types for men, women, and children) Linens (sheets, blankets, towels) Shoes and Accessories (handbags, belts, hats) Household Goods (kitchenware, decorative items, small appliances - working condition only) *We do not accept large furniture, electronics, or hazardous materials.* Collection Schedule: Our collection services operate on a scheduled basis. To request a pickup, please visit our website or call our donation hotline. Pickups are generally scheduled within 7-10 business days of your request, depending on your location and our current routing. *Please note that specific collection days may vary based on geographic area. For the most accurate scheduling information, please use our online request form or contact us directly.* Donation Pickup Request: To schedule a donation pickup, please complete our online donation request form available at [link to request form, if available on page]. Holiday Collection Schedule AMVETS AMVETS will pick up holiday trees on the following dates: * January 8, 2024 * January 15, 2024 All decorations must be removed from the trees. Regular trash and recycling collection will proceed as normal on these holidays, unless otherwise noted.

WATCH ON YOUR SCHEDULE: Meetings of the Largo City Commission have returned to an in-person format at Largo City Hall. However, in order to protect the health and safety of our residents and visitors, the City of Largo has decided to continue allowing the public to participate in Largo City Commission Meetings using electronic communications technology. This means that members of the public who wish to comment during the meeting will have several options. Please visit this guide to participating in City meetings to learn more. In addition, as part of the City of Largo's on-going commitment to making digital communications more accessible, televised public meetings, including meetings of the Largo City Commission as well as Planning and Code Boards, now feature live closed captioning.
