Patrol In addition to road patrol and traffic duties, this division provides the following services and functions: Car Seat Installation - At no cost, certified officers can check your child’s car seat for proper installation, safety, recall status and provide education. To make an appointment, please call our non-emergency number at (561) 584-8300 ext. 8742. Off-Duty Details Extra-duty detail officers are available to provide security for events within the village. These services are provided upon request or are required per Village Ordinance for a set fee. Some events include carnivals, traffic control, extra security patrol, festivals, large parties, etc. Detail requests can be made by calling (561) 584-8300 ext. 8513 to obtain an Extra-Duty Detail Agreement form. The standard hourly rate for an Extra-Duty Detail Officer is $70.00 per hour. Any detail request received with less than 24 hours' notice, the cost is $80.00 per hour. The hourly rate for holidays and special events is $90.00 per hour. Holidays and special events include Super Bowl Sunday, Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Easter Sunday, Cinco de Mayo, Independence Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day BARS AND NIGHTCLUBSThe hourly rate is $80.00 per hour. If it requires 4 or more officers requiring a supervisor, the rate is $90.00 per hour. If it falls on a holiday or special event, the rate is $90.00 per hour. The extra duty detail officer will assure that all state laws and ordinances are adhered to without affecting the duties of our regular road patrol duties.
