Lancaster County Government offices announce holiday closures

Lancaster County Government offices will be closed on several upcoming and past holidays. Residents should note these closures to plan accordingly for county services.

The offices were closed on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, for Juneteenth. Past closures also include Thursday, July 4, 2024, for Independence Day; Monday, September 2, 2024, for Labor Day; and Monday, October 14, 2024, for Columbus Day.

Upcoming closures include Monday, November 11, 2024, for Veterans Day; Thursday, November 28, 2024, for Thanksgiving Day; and Friday, November 29, 2024, the day after Thanksgiving. The county will also close on Tuesday, December 24, 2024, for Christmas Eve, and Wednesday, December 25, 2024, for Christmas Day. The year will conclude with an office closure on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, for New Year's Day.

Residents needing to access county services on these dates will need to wait until the following business day.
