Adam Lunn Named Interim Director of Lakeland Airport

City Manager Shawn Sherrouse appointed Adam Lunn as interim director of Lakeland Linder International Airport on June 14. Sherrouse said city leadership will evaluate Lunn for permanent appointment to the position.
Lunn joined the airport as an intern in 2011 and has held several roles since then. He most recently served as assistant airport director for four years.
"Adam will serve as interim airport director while city management and airport leadership evaluate the strong potential for his permanent appointment," Sherrouse said. "I am confident that he will continue to provide the exceptional leadership and professionalism that have defined his career with the city."
Lunn holds a master's degree in business administration from Florida Southern College and a bachelor's degree in management from the University of South Florida. He is a certified member of the American Association of Airport Executives, an airport certified employee in operations, and holds FAA private pilot and remote pilot certifications.
Lakeland Linder is one of the nation's fastest growing airports. Lunn's responsibilities include financial and operational management of the facility.
The city has not announced a timeline for the permanent appointment decision.
