The Polk County School Board convened for its August 2026 work session and regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 25, at the main PCPS office in Bartow.
The work session began at 12:30 p.m., followed by the regular monthly meeting at 5 p.m.
Residents could watch the proceedings live on the PCPS YouTube channel and through local cable television: Comcast channel 7, Frontier channel 45 and Spectrum channel 642.
The PCPS office is located at 1915 S. Floral Ave. in Bartow.
