"NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, will hold public hearings to consider the following: ADOPTING THE BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 2025 The first public hearing will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. for the purpose of hearing public comments regarding the proposed Fiscal Year 2025 Budget. The second public hearing will be held on Monday, September 16, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. for the purpose of hearing public comments regarding the proposed Fiscal Year 2025 Budget. "A Public Hearing will be held on June 25, 2024 at 6:00 PM at Fort Walton Beach City Hall, 107 Miracle Strip Parkway SW, Fort Walton Beach, Florida, to consider the following proposed ordinance: ORDINANCE 2024-15 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 2023-14, WHICH ADOPTED THE FISCAL YEAR 2023-2024 BUDGET, TO PROVIDE FOR SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATIONS; PROVIDING FOR REPEAL OF CONFLICTING PROVISIONS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. The purpose of this ordinance is to amend the Fiscal Year 2023-2024 Budget to appropriate funds for the following projects: Butters Park Improvement Project ($150,000), Downtown CRA Façade Grant Program ($250,000), and Regional Airport Land Acquisition ($1,000,000).
