The City of Groveland will flush fire hydrants Monday, Sept. 14, through Friday, Sept. 18. Crews will work daily between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
Residents may experience temporary drops in water pressure and possible water discoloration. The city states the water remains safe to use.
Hydrant flushing removes iron mineral deposits from water lines to maintain water quality and system reliability.
If discolored water appears, run a cold water tap for 10 to 15 minutes. Contact the City at 352-429-2141 if discoloration persists or for questions.
