Lake Alfred Approves 2026-2027 Fiscal Budget

The City of Lake Alfred has adopted its annual budget for the 2026-2027 fiscal year. The City Commission approved the budget through Ordinance No. 1583-26, a standard municipal action to fund city operations.

Florida Statutes require local governments to prepare a Business Impact Estimate before enacting ordinances. However, this ordinance, pertaining to budget adoption, is exempt from requiring a detailed estimate of direct economic impact on private, for-profit businesses. The City Commission determined the ordinance falls under this exemption.
