Chestnut Health Systems™ is committed to providing quality services while maintaining affordable fees. No patient will be denied services based solely on the patient’s inability to pay. Our Financial Intake Specialists will help you through the steps of determining fees including checking your insurance benefits. Payment at the time of service is preferred. Chestnut accepts medical insurance, Illinois and Missouri Medicaid, some Medicare plans, and direct client payment by cash, check or credit card. All patients/clients have access to a sliding fee scale for Chestnut Health Systems, Chestnut Family Health Center, and Chestnut dental (also available in Spanish). Your family size and income determine whether your care will be billed based on the scale. Chestnut can also help with loans. For some clients, state-funded financial assistance may also be an option. We can help you determine your eligibility.
