Beware of trending wire transfer scam! All payments for Planning and Zoning Commission applications are due at the time of filing the application. Payments are only accepted in person or over the phone. How to identify a scam? 1. Request for a wire transfer of money. Kodiak Island Borough will never ask for a wire transfer payment. 2. Incorrect email address. 3. Strange or very large amount of money requested and/or multiple requests. 4. ALWAYS CONTACT COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT TO CONFIRM.
