KUA Names Three Board Finalists in Kissimmee
KISSIMMEE — The Kissimmee Utility Authority board interviewed seven applicants Wednesday to recommend replacements for outgoing Chairman Manuel Ortega, who has served since 2015. The City of Kissimmee commission will conduct final interviews in June and make the appointment.
The three finalists are:
Adam Adamski: A lead trainer at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Central Florida. Adamski, a U.S. Navy veteran, has lived in Osceola County for over 15 years.
Javin Lopez: A 20-year Osceola County resident with over a decade in real estate sales and training. Lopez serves on the boards of the Osceola and Florida REALTORS® Associations and the City of Kissimmee Planning Advisory Committee.
Jordan White: A preconstruction project manager at NEI General with a Master's in Business Administration from Western Governors University and a Bachelor of Science from Florida State University. White has lived in Osceola County for 12 years.
The new board member will be sworn in at the KUA's October meeting. Founded in 1901, KUA is Florida's sixth-largest community-owned utility, serving 100,000 customers across Osceola County.
